An AI video generator with no subscription required

SimpliGen is a Windows app you buy once. It runs open weight video models on your own NVIDIA GPU, so there is no monthly fee, no credit meter and no cost per clip. The only thing counting your generations is your electricity bill.

Buy it once

A one-time licence for the app, including the improvements we ship to what is already in it. No renewal and no credit packs to top up. See what is included.

It runs on your machine

Wan 2.2, LTX 2.5 and MiniMax H3 run locally through an embedded ComfyUI. Your prompts and your outputs stay on your disk, because nothing of ours is in the loop while you generate.

Unlimited is literal

Nothing meters a local generation. Run it overnight, run a hundred seeds, regenerate the same prompt forty times. The cost of the next clip is zero.

Will it run on your PC? Four questions, no sign-up

This is the part worth getting right before you pay anything. Answer four questions and you get a straight verdict on your own hardware, built from what the same cards really do in our telemetry rather than from a marketing table.

What it is not, so you can stop reading if this is you

  • It is Windows and NVIDIA only. There is no macOS or Linux build, and AMD and Intel GPUs cannot run the local engine, which is CUDA based. The full requirements say which cards work.
  • Local video takes minutes, not seconds. A 5 second clip is a few minutes on a 16 GB desktop card and can be 30 to 60 minutes on an 8 GB laptop. That is normal for local generation and it is the trade you are making for the zero marginal cost.
  • Two things are not covered by the one-time price, and we would rather say so. Cloud generation runs on our GPUs and is metered in credits you buy, for when you want speed instead of your own card. The Film Studio is a separate add-on. The app itself, and generating locally with it, needs neither.
  • It is not free. The models are free and open and you can point SimpliGen at files you already have. If you want a free tool and do not mind a node graph, use ComfyUI; we say so on our comparison page and SimpliGen runs ComfyUI underneath anyway.

If the check above said yes, the rest is a download. If it said no, Cloud generation runs every cloud enabled preset on our GPUs and does not care what card you have. Either way you can refund within 14 days if it will not run properly on your computer.

Questions

Do I need a subscription?
The app is a one-time purchase and generating on your own GPU costs nothing per run. There is an optional all-access subscription that bundles every studio plus monthly cloud credits, and the Film Studio can be bought on its own as an add-on, but neither is needed to buy SimpliGen and generate locally.
Is there a cap on how much I can generate?
Not locally. Nothing of ours is involved while your GPU is generating, so there is nothing to count. Cloud generation is the metered part, because it runs on our hardware.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11, an NVIDIA GPU from the GTX 16-series or newer, 16 GB of system RAM (32 GB recommended for video), and disk space for the models, which can be 10 to 30 GB each. The hardware check on this page answers it for your exact machine.
Which video models does it run?
Wan 2.2 and its lightweight low VRAM build, LTX 2.5 and LTX Director, and MiniMax H3, each shipped as a preset with the workflow and settings already configured. Image models include FLUX.2 Dev and Qwen-Image.
Do my prompts or images go to a server?
Not for local generation. The engine runs on your PC and the outputs are written to your disk. Cloud generation obviously sends the job to our GPUs, which is why it is a separate choice per generation rather than the default.
