Do I need to know ComfyUI?
Not at all. SimpliGen is built for people who find AI tools overwhelming. The 3-step wizard handles the workflow, the model and the prompt structure for you, so you just describe what you want.
Is local generation really free?
Yes. Once installed, local generation runs entirely on your own GPU. No per-image fees and no API charges, so generate as much as you like.
What are the system requirements?
SimpliGen runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Cloud generation works on any modern machine with no GPU required. For local generation we recommend an NVIDIA GPU with 8GB+ VRAM and 16GB of system RAM: image presets run fine on smaller cards, while video presets and larger models are happier with 12 to 16GB+ of VRAM. Models are large, so keep around 30GB+ of free disk space, ideally on an SSD. macOS and Linux aren't supported yet.
Which models and providers are supported?
Cloud: Google and OpenAI. Local: any ComfyUI-compatible model (Stable Diffusion XL, Flux, LTX video, WAN video and more) via preset packs.
What operating systems are supported?
Windows today. macOS and Linux aren't supported yet.
How do updates work?
Updates ship automatically inside the app, and your license carries forward. It's a one-time purchase with lifetime upgrades, no subscription ever.
